Ryu Seminar-December 14th, 2003-Rescheduled due to snow
This seminar will be taught by Shidoshi Mark Davis and will
focus on hanbo-jutsu. It will be held from10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boston
Martial Arts Center. The fee for the seminar is $100 for the entire day.

preparation for dealing with danger, with special emphasis on facing

attackers, exercises for sensitivity to surprise attack, and a powerful
eyes-open warrior meditation for creating safe space.
The Energetics
of Self-Defense
An introductory workshop on the energetics of self defense,
taught by Mark Davis and produced by Deborah Bluth, Patrick Crowley and
Ali Essakali. This sseminar occured Saturday January 11, 2003, from 3-5
p.m.

Join NEWC for the third in a series of weekend seminars covering the theory,
(Kata) and application (strategy) of the Koto Ryu, one of the nine historical
traditions being taught in the international Bujinkan under the auspices
of Soke Hatsumi.
